As the semester is coming to an end, final presentations and projects have me thinking about all that I've learned this year. I'm very thankful for taking CAP105, Technology in Advertising & Public Relations, this semester for a variety of reasons.
The class taught me how to use Final Cut Pro, how to use Photoshop, and it helped define the difference between the many multimedia files used in the advertising and PR industries.
Below is a Prezi I've created, highlighting the different aspects of the course that I learned the most from.
In addition to learning more about the materials presented in class, CAP105 helped get my blog started and keep it updated with fresh content, twice a week. This was something I wanted to do on my website for a while, but I wasn't quite sure how to get started. Now that I've been able to create a handful of blog content, I plan on continuing and sprinkling some more light-hearted pieces about my personal interests like fashion, art, and social psychology (e.g. why we do what we do).
Thank you, Professor Peavey, for you introducing all this new skills to me and the rest of the class! We might not be pros, but we now know enough to be dangerous :-)
